Family Argument....need opinion!? I have been married to my husband for 13 years. We have 2 kids ages 22 months and 9 years old. My husband comes from a huge family and if you do something to wrong they all know it. They can be a pain in the *** really. No one ever minds their own business. So yesterday his niece sends me an email asking if I would pick her up at the airport in a few weeks. She is 25 and has 2 kids ages 1 and 4 . At first i told her I think I may be able too but without thinking I was only thinking we could fit all 3 babies in the back and then it dawns on me where will my older son sit? I just wasn't thinking clearly right off the bat. There is no way I can get 3 car seats in my car and then 3 adults. just ain't going to happen and my mom and husband are at work so they can't watch my son and he is too young to be left alone. So even though I told her I may be able to do it I sent another email saying oh crap where will Brandon go? I wont have enough room in my car for you all. So she comes back and says well nan who is my husbands mom can watch my oldest son....Let me tell you this women has not done one thing for my children since I have been married to my husband and suddenly she is going to baby sit him, I told his niece I do not think so, I will not ask her to do such a thing. So then it gets out of hand and she has an attitude and starts yelling at me and asking me why I said yes in the first place then changed it to I didn't have room in my car she even stooped so low to call me dense and was very condescending to me. I couldn't believe it! I have know her since she was 5 and my husband is her uncle and I was surprised she was talking to me this way. Then her mother who is my husbands sisters sends us an email that says "hey Guys strike 2 there will be no strike 3" this is a sister who we cosigned a car loan to and when she moved from VT to FL we drove all her stuff down and when her Father passed away my mom watched her grand kid. I am upset that some people just cant take a no as an answer. They make it into a bigger issue. Who's right ?? I suggested to my niece to call uncle Rich he isn't working or take a shuttle that I use often when I come home on trips. She thought that was rude? Am i wrong?
